Refund Policy
7-day goodwill guarantee
Within 7 days of your first paid credit pack, email support and we will refund the unused portion:
- No credits used → full refund of the pack.
- Some credits used → refund minus the credits already spent (1 credit ≈ pack price ÷ pack size).
- System error that failed a generation → that credit is refunded automatically, always, with no time limit.
How to request
- Email support@makemybookcover.com from the email on your account
- Include “Refund” in the subject
- We process within 1 business day; the refund lands on your card 1–10 business days after we trigger it (Stripe timing)
What's not covered
- Packs older than 7 days (beyond the goodwill window)
- The portion of a pack whose credits have already been spent
- Already-downloaded high-resolution covers — these are delivered digital content covered by your commercial license (see Terms)
EU / UK customers
Digital content normally carries a 14-day right of withdrawal. At checkout you expressly request that we begin supplying credits immediately and acknowledge that you lose this statutory right once any credit from a pack has been used. The 7-day goodwill guarantee above is offered in addition and is more generous than the law requires.
Effect on your account
After a refund, the refunded pack's remaining credits are removed and your account reverts to the free tier. Covers you already generated stay accessible in your dashboard, and any high-resolution file you downloaded before the refund remains yours under the commercial license.
Before you open a dispute
If you're unhappy, please email us before opening a card dispute or chargeback — we resolve almost everything with a partial or full goodwill refund within one business day.
