FAQ

Questions authors ask.

Yes, once you make a paid download — that gives you the clean high-resolution file plus full commercial rights for Amazon KDP and other publishing platforms. Free previews are watermarked and for evaluation only. You own the output either way.

On dimensions, yes — exactly. A paid download is a 1600 × 2560 PNG front cover, which is precisely Amazon's published recommendation for a Kindle cover (a 1.6:1 ratio), so you should not need to resize it. Size is only one of KDP's conditions, though: it also checks file size, content, borders and that your title and author match your book's metadata, and those are on your side, not ours. A KDP paperback is a different file: one full wrap with back cover, spine and front cover, sized to your trim, page count and paper type. Building it is free and takes one of two routes — from the Publish workspace of the project the cover was generated in, or through the standalone Ebook→Paperback converter if the front cover came from elsewhere. Because the wrap scales the front cover up to your trim's print size, treat a paperback as a second step rather than the same file. Free previews are watermarked and 1080px wide, for judging the design only.

One AI Generation means one successfully created new AI visual result. Initial generation, Variation, Structural, character, scene, object, or style changes use 1 AI Generation only when a new artwork version succeeds. Text wording, typography, formatting, Front Export, and re-downloading use 0. There is no separate edit allowance. Requests that fail, time out, are canceled, or create no new version do not consume the final allowance.

Romance, Fantasy, Thriller, Nonfiction, Children's and Cookbook — a named cover archetype set across those 6 genres, with more added as we code new bestseller sets. Cookbook is the newest: 84% of the Amazon cookbook bestsellers sit on a light ground, which is the inverse of every fiction genre here, so it carries its own rubric rather than borrowing nonfiction's.

That's the whole point of anchoring it. The telltales — warped lettering, extra fingers, melted hands, no focal hierarchy — come from unconstrained prompt boxes. Output here is constrained to bestseller composition patterns and the title is set as editable type, so it reads as a designed cover, not an AI render.

New accounts include 3 AI Generations, valid for 7 days with no card. The results carry a watermark and are for judging whether the tool works for your book. The clean full-size file and commercial rights come with Basic at $19 for 20 AI Generations or Pro at $39 for 60.

Yes. KDP allows AI-generated cover art. A paid download gives you full commercial rights to that cover, and KDP only asks that you disclose AI use in the content-creation step during upload — a checkbox, not a barrier.

Project Full Wrap uses 0 AI Generations because it formats an existing visual result into a print-ready PDF; it does not create a new AI visual. Retrying, re-downloading, failed exports, Project Front PNG/JPG exports, and the standalone Ebook→Paperback Converter also use 0.
